Dr Olckers/DNAbiotec® received the service provider award for pro bono work performed for Legal Aid South Africa in the field of forensic DNA evidence. This award was for pro bono service under the Memorandum of Understanding that DNAbiotec® has with Legal Aid South Africa to assist public defenders in dealing with DNA evidence in criminal court cases.
