Started a new academic department for the North West University

Started a new academic department for the North West University. This department was located off-campus and thus designated as a “Centre”. i. The Centre for Genome Research (CGR) was conceptualised, started and headed by me for the university, as it did not have a human genomics department at the time. The CGR only accommodated post-graduate students at the masters and doctoral levels. ii. I was the Director of the CGR (thus the head of department) reporting directly to the Dean of the Faculty.
